9 hole Golf Course
practice facility

The Caughnawaga Golf Club being located on the Kahnawake Mohawk Territory has incorporated a piece of our heritage in the naming of the 3 nines. The Wolf, Bear and Turtle are the 3 Clans or Families that make up the root structure of the Mohawk people.

“It’s the Red Nine for me!”

The “Snapping Turtle ” 9 hole course, also known by long time CGC players as the Red Nine, is the Caughnawaga Golf Club’s couldn’t do without golf course.

Perfect for League play, scrambles, family outings or smaller group 9 Hole Tournaments or even an action 9 for the player who can’t get enough. The Snapper is a beautiful gem in it’s own right.

Measuring just under 3000 yards from the back tees, it is a classic “risk-reward” style golf course. It is not uncommon for a scratch handicap player to use every one of their 14 clubs in the bag during a 9 hole round. Every type of shot needs to be played to navigate this loop.

Perfect for junior, beginners and loads of fun for the more seasoned players, the “Snapper” is what has been described as “a Great little course with Bite”!
As with all of the CGC’s golf facility, these 9 Holes are also kept in a clean condition in the “Parkland Style” Golf Course.

Why spend all day looking for lost balls in the fescue when the CGC is here to make Golf enjoyable!
