Parcours 18 trous
An 18-hole Golf Course

“What matters to you “The Golfer” also matters to us, we play here too!”

The Caughnawaga Golf Club being located on the Kahnawake Mohawk Territory has incorporated a piece of our heritage in the naming of the 2 nines. The Wolf and the Bear are 2 of the 3 Clans or Families that make up the root structure of the Mohawk people.

The Caughnawaga Golf Club’s 18-hole golf course is comprised of the Wolf 9 and the Bear 9, which is a great Parkland style layout. A well thought-out and designed course with golfer playability in mind, combined with well conditioned and multiple teeing areas, tightly mown fairways and spectacular Greens, the public golfer is in for an affordable treat, something that is becoming increasingly rarer with each passing season.

When you schedule your game at the CGC, you will be playing our course, which is comprised of The Wolf 9 & The Bear 9. The “Championship 18” is a par 70, 6300-yard challenge from the black tees, we’d like to caution, don’t let the yardage fool you. This course features mature tree lined fairways, and an incredible quiet serene atmosphere, 10 minutes from downtown Montreal area and you’re in the country, in such a peaceful surrounding that is getting very hard to find these days.  Just to add to the fun and increase your variety, the course has four sets of tee boxes; pick the right one for you

.

The course boasts a great combination of distinctly different and fun to play Par 3 holes, which includes the interesting and challenging Island Green #6. The Par 4’s are all well thought out and a well executed mix of short, medium and a longer blend of holes. The three Par 5’s are quite interesting and fun in their own right, with #5 being of particular interest.

The Course incorporates well placed water hazards and well placed design elements, not there to frustrate and punish you and make for a miserable day, but are strategically located to add beauty, fun and include some fun and doable challenges to your game on the links.

One other thing about the CGC’S playability is something that can at times go unnoticed, our wooded and off the beaten path areas are maintained in a clean state in keeping with the theme of a  “Parkland Style Golf Course”. This not only looks nice, but appreciated when one’s day is not spent searching for your golf ball every time you hit on a stray. It’s part of the CGC’s goal making the Game enjoyable and fun for everybody!

The Caughnawaga Golf Club is your best Bang for your Buck, “Period”!
